We borrowed one sweet girl for a little mini shoot to introduce our valentine’s day collection:

We really love these “passing” valentines- they’re the perfect little treat for classrooms, and come with candy (you can choose M+Ms or Skittles). So cute!

In addition to the valentines up in our shop, we also created a free printable oversize valentine (prints onto an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper for an XL 7 x 9 card) for those really really special someones. They look sweet on their own, but we think it would make dads and moms (or granddads and grandmoms!) really smile if there was some crayon customization from their favorite little artist.

Onto the real star of the show- our pick this week comes from Laura Worthington:

So fun and charming- and just love this from Laura on the inspiration for Funkydori: “I am a child of the Seventies. I grew up rocking the rainbow striped bellbottoms, decorating my room with posters of Unicorns and watching ‘The Electric Company’. Funkydori is my nod to the groovy and far out days of this decade.” Even these eighties babies can get behind that.

- We (fingers crossed!) find out next week if we’re having a boy or a girl- so excited! But I’m starting to think, nurserywise, that it might not matter too much- at least judging from this dream nursery we had pinned THREE times. Pink or blue, we’re thinking creams, neutrals and golds. Well, check back on that.

- Funkytime makes ice cubes gorgeous and holiday ready with edible berries and rosemary.

- Speaking of roundups: Friday Favorites from Iowa Girl Eats is my new favorite. I got a huge blog crush recently on this amazing foodie blog (and that’s really saying something, considering that Instagram food pictures are not so good for me anymore- thanks baby!) and Kristin’s Friday picks are a weekly dose of perfection. I mean, baked potato grilled cheese?! That’s a good find.

- Secretly really really looking forward to wrapping gifts and LOVING this white on kraft- and the clay tags!- from Kelli Murray. Plain kraft wrapping paper is the best base- we did gold and silver accents on kraft paper last year and loved how it turned out. We also love dressing up muslin (this is perfect for odd shaped gifts, like a bottle of wine, since it drapes softly instead of folding sharply like paper) with gold ribbon and tulle.

- In the spirit of the season: 4 wonderfully giving bloggers have joined together to raise money for the Starfish Greathearts Foundation- and because they are also wonderfully talented wedding bloggers, they’re giving away four styled shoots- one each in the US, UK, New Zealand, and South Africa- to encourage donations and celebrate their appeal.

- The story behind this AddiesJabs tablet charging pouch just proves that necessity really is the mother of invention: “I recently washed my daughter’s Kindle Fire in the washer because she left it on her bed and I didn’t see it when I gathered up her comforter and threw in the wash. Needless to say there was sadness and despair on both our parts. So I came up with this pouch to keep next to the plug next to her bed.” So smart we can’t stand it. Addie has a ton of super cute items in her shop, but this wins for most brilliant.

We love the hand-drawn charm of these icons, so cute! Christmas Doodles Too also has a big brother, Christmas Doodles. We want them both!

Jenna and Neil are expecting their first baby in May!

In case you missed it yesterday: Creative Market launched! We’ve been looking forward to the day they opened the doors to this “handcrafted, mousemade design” marketplace for what seems like FOREVER- it’s such a brilliant idea! Not only is it full of awesome resources (downloadable templates, icon sets, brushes + more), but we love the focus on the “handcrafted” aspect of digital downloads, and their amazing focus on creatives.

All that being said, there’s already an awesome font selection ranging in price from $2 to $15. Naturally, we couldn’t resist picking one of our favorites for this week’s Font Friday:
